Finding your SOULMATE and LOVE - Happy Holidays in Happy Homes, 1

on Mon, 12/11/2012 - 09:56

I love to love, actually love is a verb for me.
It has all these different aspects that makes it so incredible interesting, so mysterious, so heartbreaking, so joyful.

Writing about creating happy homes for happy holidays starts with love for me (see our INTRODUCTION post).

During this whole month Solgave, PlayDrMom and me are writing about Christmas. We want to share with you how homes become happy. Not in the sense of how to decorate your house, which presents to buy and give or what dinner should be prepared for christmas eve, but by writing about the people living inside our houses. The question what we will ask ourselves every week is: “How to be Happy”?.

I am not a philosopher, I am woman who claims to be an expert of her own life. My writings are based on the most valuable knowledge called experience.

Happiness and love make a perfect combination (as does feeling miserable and love...). I think there are just a few people who are NOT looking for that one person, comes in mind Tom Cruise “Jerry Maguire” who once said - ...You make me complete....

I would lie saying that I make part of the few people I just mentioned, not dreaming about that one person coming into my life, filling up the other side of my heart. With a big smile I can write that my life has been full of delusions and many many try-outs of making things work. I have been trying to :

  • have one BIG love
  • never BREAK hearts
  • Not fall in love with the “wrong” kind of man
  • Stay married out of fear for staying alone
  • Become a single mom, playing dad at the same time

and you know...I’ve FAILED! All my attempts didn’t work out.

So nothing else remained then stop trying and to become real.

This meant one thing:

  • Becoming brave enough and accept me being fairy and witch at the same time.

and you know the cool thing that this reality gave me? I’ve found the person who completes me...ME! So Me, myself and I are the base for my happy home. And as usual when you are satisfied, other things come along.

Let me present you one of my two best travelmates in life at the moment, isn’t he just cute?!

And tell me about you, dear reader, what does it mean for you to love?

If you like to know who more I travel with, you might to come back next week when we write about ‘becoming a parent’.

Now hop over to Solgave "Our story is unique, and one that is powerfully told on our site. With one bag of clothes on my back, a return ticket that should have brought me home two weeks later after our first hug at Heathrow airport in London, would be moved ultimately over a half dozen times"  and PlayDrMom "Of course.  We have bad days … even bad years, but we work through it together as a couple and a family"and read what more they want to share with you about soulmates -love.

In the coming weeks we travel towards christmas and look forward to share some hands on real life experiences on the next topics with you:

Nature, animals, families, travel, healing, and overcoming obstacles are some of the things they share with passion.

Her blog is dedicated to promoting the importance of play and strengthening relationships with children. - The Magic Of Play is on a mission to bring play back in daily lives through bilingual songs, movement & creativity.
