'Little Star of Christmas shine' song - Day 5 Creative Christmas Countdown

A christmas without a song is as a tree without a star

Welcome to day 5 of the Creative Christmas Countdown. We are happy that you join us in our singing today!

Here at my place we love to sing, make music, dancing and creating to the songs we like. Singing and using music is one of the most important parts of my work with children. You can read about that in my 'Can I sing a song for you' - post (with a great chance inside to win a song by me for YOU!).

Somebody asked me if I come from a musical family, not really, but I did make music when I was little...

Twinkle little Christmas star

While flying back home last week, there was a clear dark sky and the stars where beautifully bright. Chanel started to sing 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star', and this inspired me to transform this song into a Christmas song. We've crafted Twinkeling Little Stars and a Christmas Tree to go together with the song. It felt already like Christmas, and I do believe that it should be Christmas for all families every day !

Please sing along with us, there is the English and a far more cuter and sweeter Italian version:)

English Christmas version of 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'

"Little star of christmas shine

I smile to you and feel real fine

Please come down and stay with me

Way up high in my green tree

Little Star of Christmas shine

I smile to you and feel real fine"

Chanel (5 years) singing 'Brilla, brilla stellina di Natale'

"Brilla, brilla la stellina

Su nel cielo piccolina

Vieni giù a stare con me

L'albero di Natale aspetta TE!

Brilla, Brilla la stellina

Su nel cielo piccolina"

My favorite Christmas song is "Oh Jul Med Din Glede." It is the only thing I know in my grandparents native tongue of Norwegian is this song. It is a tradition for my family to sing it as we dance around the Christmas tree on Christmas eve. I like your song too. So cute!

You couldn't find a cuter Christmas song! Or maybe you couldn't find a cuter Christmas singer :D Thank you BOTH of you for singing for us!
