I am so thrilled to share with you 'To Be Me' , a lovely rhyming book for big and small children. The magical poem is accompanied by magnificent drawings. A real pleasure for the eye, heart and soul! The book is made by Joanna Lynn and Anthony Butkovich, two passionate lovers of life. And the best part is: I have three hard copies to give away!

The dream of my kid 

Last night I shared the story of 'To Be Me' with my 6 year old daughter.
You have to know that Chanel has a dream, she wants to fly, read more about that in 'Wish upon a Balloon'.
She writes for example personal note's to Tinkerbell about it: "Tinkerbell can you ask Queen Clarion if she can let me fly", also her drawings show me her desire to spread her wings.

Chanel sometimes is disappointed that all the practicing, didn't bring her any results until now. 

'To Be Me' gave me the occassion to explain to her that dreams can come true, even the ones that seem to be impossible to many of us. It just requiers something important: accepting yourself the way you are. First love all of your aspects, also those that are blocking you to fly at the moment.

"How can you fly if you are not loving it to walk, run, jump, skip?" I told Chanel.  It seemed as this was understood by her..

In To Be Me it's said beautifully:

"All of the parts that make up YOU

are beautiful and unique -

love them all"

Anthony (from the US) and Joanna (from Canada) met about 6 years ago on a message board. Joanna had a little poem she wanted to make into a children's book, and Anthony's work was beautifully perfect for her story! So she sent him a message to work together and they then became fast friends. They have never met in person, but know each other very well. To Be Me is the first book they created together, but not the last!
