We are ready for mrs SUMMER to enter our country, our city, our house, our bathroom and kitchen! (?)
During one of our after- school adventures outside, Chanel collected yellow and purple flowers. When her senses were filled up again with the beautiful love of mother nature, we've brought them home. They invaded first our bathtub and later ended up inside of a jelly-cake!
Is your curiosity tickled by these sentences? Then come with me to show you how we' ve conserved the public park flowers into a piece of home made-art.
My daughter and I are living in a cute and small appartment, right in the middle of the centre. Great for shopping, drink and eat possibilities, but no garden or balcony. So many times, we play in our 'backyard': The mountains surrounding Lecco.
We can appreciate beauty and look as far as possible, spotting our environment where we live, play and have FUN!
Reggio Emilia is a town in Emilia Romagna, a province in the North of Italy. A famous food region, since they make the balsamico vinegar and the parmerggiano cheese. Besides the food, Reggio Emilia is visited every year by thousands of childhood experts, coming from all over the world. I was one of them last october 2010 when I got the wonderful oppurtunity to dive profound into the so called Reggio Emilia approach.
I visited several infant - toddler centers / asili nidi (0-3 years old) and preschools / asili (3-6 years old), talked to the educational staff and shared opinions with my collegues coming from 29 different countries!
"Reggio Emilia’s in depth studyweek was a wonder of learning to me."
We are living in Italy, right on the como lake. Once every now and then we enjoy the good life and go out for a pizza. This time we were alone in the pizzeria and sat on this magnificent table. My daughter got the idea of making her own show, probably inspired by the animated way Italians speak with their hands.
Such fun while waiting for our dinner and we didn't need any material or toys for that!
